Vivo Control, Inc. (“Vivo Control,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Notice describes the personal information that we collect about you, how we use and disclose personal information, and the steps we take to protect personal information.
For purposes of this Privacy Notice, “personal information” means any information that relates to you as an individual and could reasonably be used to identify you.
This Privacy Notice applies to our collection and use of personal information through this website and any related websites, our mobile application, products, services, tools, or platforms (the “Services”), as well as through any other means where a link or reference to this Privacy Notice is provided at the time of collection.
This Privacy Notice covers the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information related to our business customers, who may be property owners, managers, and other business partners. It also describes our practices with respect to tenants and residents of our business customers’ properties (“tenants”). This Privacy Notice also covers the limited personal information we may collect from visitors that enter partner properties and utilize our Services.
Please note that we generally operate as a service provider / processor under applicable privacy laws when providing the Services to our business customers (i.e., property owners, managers, and other business partners). We process tenant and visitor personal information on behalf of, and pursuant to instructions from, our business customers in order to provide the Services.

Personal Information We Collect
When you access or use the Services, or otherwise interact with us, we may collect certain personal information about you from a variety of sources.
Information We Collect Directly
- Basic personal information. We collect tenants’ names so that they can appear in the intercom directory. We may also collect the names of individuals who fill out a “Contact Us” form or otherwise contact us.
- Contact information. We collect phone numbers and email addresses from tenants who sign up for an account and download our mobile app, and to enable their visitors to call them through the intercom system. Users may optionally sync contacts to send virtual access credentials; we do not collect contacts without express permission.
- Property Access Information. We may collect information when you enter one of our partner properties using the intercom, including name, date and time of entry, and a photograph and/or video. This information is tied to an individual unit and viewable by the tenant and property management.
- Account information. Email addresses and passwords.
- Communications. Contents of communications related to support, inquiries, or product information.
- Identity verification information. When scheduling self-guided tours, our service providers may collect a scan of a government-issued ID for identity verification.

- Technical information (browser type, device type, IP address, operating system)
- Usage information (pages visited, searches, feature interaction, frequency)
Information from Other Sources
- Tenant names, addresses, and phone numbers from property owners or managers
- Lead and account information from third-party partners
- Information collected pursuant to legal or contractual requirements
How We Use Personal Information
We may use the personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
- Authenticate users and manage access credentials
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, and manage risk
- Communicate with users and customers
- Improve and develop features and functionality

We may aggregate or de-identify personal information and use it as permitted by law. Where required, we rely on lawful bases such as consent, contract necessity, legal obligation, or legitimate business interests.

We and our vendors may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, APIs, and similar technologies to collect technical, usage, and interaction data. These technologies help us:

- YouTube — We embed YouTube-hosted videos. YouTube may collect user data in accordance with Google’s privacy policy.
- Facebook Custom Audiences — You may opt out through your Facebook advertising settings.
We do not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
How and When We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Affiliates and corporate group members
- Service providers and professional advisors
- Parties involved in corporate transactions
- Law enforcement or government entities when required
- Other parties with your consent or direction
We do not share SMS-related information for third-party marketing purposes.
Security & International Transfers
We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure.
Personal information may be processed and stored in the United States, including Puerto Rico, and in other locations where we or our service providers maintain operations, subject to appropriate safeguards and contractual protections.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Because we act as a processor for many Services, certain requests may need to be directed through your property owner or manager.

Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 and will delete such information if discovered.
